The WOW writing workshops are free, and they're starting next Tuesday, 12th April, from 3.45 - 5.30pm. Tuesday workshops will be held at 28 Urquhart st in Horsham.
Next month I will be adding Thursday workshops into the project as well as Tuesdays. Thursday workshops will be held at Mibus Studios, which are located upstairs at the Horsham Library, 28 McLachlan St, Horsham. Both locations are at street number 28, to make everything a bit easier to remember.
If you * identify with another culture
* are aged between 10 and 18 years
* can make your way to the two locations listed above on Tuesdays and Thursdays
* have a thing for writing eg. lyrics, diary, poetry, letters etc.
then I am inviting you to come along to the WOW workshops and be a part of this amazing public art project in Horsham.
WOW stands for Writing on the Walls, and over a period of two terms, we need to come up with 15 separate pieces of writing on the theme of "connecting to place", to be permanently installed in stainless steel on public sites around the main street of Horsham, ie. Firebrace St. Even if you cannot speak English, and someone else is reading this to you, you are very welcome. I have experience in teaching English as a foreign language, also in running free writing clubs, also in using Google translate!

Note: This blog has the Google translate tool, located just above my picture.
